Mission
The mission is to reduce GHG emissions and create green livelihoods to augment family income. This is achieved by facilitating the construction of individual household toilets which provides self respect and safety. Time and effort saved by such toilets enables them to take up productive livelihood activities. It also enables women to participate in the discussion relating to sustainable long-term development of remote villages and urban slums. The avoidance of open defecation has very beneficial impacts on the population in these locations.

Our organisation and its parent organisation S3IDF have experience in design, development, and manufacture of cookstoves. Our implementation strategy is to consult a large cross-section of the user community and take their advice and suggestions in the implementation of our programme.
Partnership
Our organisation has attended the important seminars and discussions of the Global Alliance. In several meetings we also made contributions discussing papers. We can also contribute discussions on project areas regarding the importance of collaborative efforts among the partners of the Alliance in order to create a better understanding of the mission of Global Alliance.
