Partnership
Our cities and towns are increasingly being choked with uncollected garbage; human waste from both formal and informal settlements and other wastes especially plastics and metals from micro and small enterprises and over-flowing sewers. This situation has occasioned the spread of water-borne diseases, loss of sustainable livelihoods, reduced availability and access to safe potable water.
There is little known about the performance of small-scale biodigester programmes in developing countries particularly Malawi, and this is to fill this gap by providing details GREENLEAF INVESTMENTS is undertaking specifically the scalability, affordability, energy capacity, productivity at the firm/worker level, cost efficiency and gender equality.
GREENLEAF INVESTMENTS is a social enterprise that aims rehabilitate, restore and manage the ecosystem in order to provide improved livelihoods targeting marginalized groups of women and girls particularly those with disabilities through community development activities of Eco-Innovative-Solutions of Waste Management.

Our digesters are more efficient, robust, and easier to maintain. They produce significant amounts of biogas from few wastes, (3kg of organic wastes=2 to 3 hours of cooking on gas). There is no need for technical expertise, users simply follow the clear instructions provided to produce biogas with minimal effort. Lastly, the system is portable, making it ideal both for rural and urban homes (mainly backyards) to turn their organic wastes into biogas to cover their daily cooking needs.
The development objective is to adopt a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of the new sustainable development agenda, specifically in the following goals:
Goal 1 - No poverty; Goal 3 - Good health and well-being; Goal 4 – Education; Goal 5 - Gender equality; Goal 6 - Clean water and sanitation; and Goal 13 - Climate action and Goal 16: Promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies.
