In Southeast Asia to build a bridge between East and West toward a new tomorrow, while connecting the Trento community with the Southeast Asian community to build capacity and to exchange experiences with a specific focus on the rights of vulnerable people like children, women, and minorities. GTV considers self-development as an antidote to exploitation.

Clean Cooking Activities
In the last couple of years we have been working on the distribution of improved cookstoves in Northern Vietnam. Our drive is a health one, for in our target territories kitchen air quality is generally bad and we wish to reduce the impact this has on the health of women and children, as well as to help protect local forests from logging for firewood.
Partnership
We are interested in meeting like-minded organizations that have technical expertise on the subject and organizations that work in Vietnam. We can contribute our experience in community development, the lessons learnt from working with communities to promote the use of improved cookstoves, help connecting with research centers on the subject.
