Clean Cooking Activities
Entrepreneurship model training has an environmental module that focuses on promotion of green enterprises and jobs with an intention of conservation the environment. In addition, we are involved in promoting/distributing clean cookstoves (Jikokoa) as away of reducing GHGs emissions as well as reduce overexploitation of wood fuel due to efficiency of modern cookstoves.
Partnership
Hand in Hand Eastern Africa will play the role of linking the manufacturers with the consumers of the clean energy technologies through its extensive branch network across Kenya. Staff will also be involved in training the users as well as promoting the cookstoves. Our target group who are the base of the pyramid, will be easily reached in the distribution value chain. We will also train members the importance using the modern cookstoves as compared with old technologies as regards to efficiency and effectiveness.
