We simply think that the volume of people throughout the developing world who are forced to cook on an open fire is completely unacceptable in the 21st century. It is an issue that is causing more deaths than malaria but the attention it receives is far lower. We believe that this is an issue that needs to be tackled head on.
Partnership
Hedgerow Inc aims to raise public and corporate awareness of the issues so we can get more people joining the fight against open fire cooking and climate change. We also look to contribute towards the distribution of clean cookstoves to continue reducing the number of families who are dependent upon open fire cooking. We are here to liaise with other partners of the organization so we can maintain and develop the alliance's ability to combat the issues that we face.
