Clean Cooking Activities
Hinterland Management has been and currently still is involved in various advanced biomass clean cookstoves projects. The companies focus and expertise is mainly on wood and agri pellet production, feedstock sourcing, supply chain management, carbon credits and sustainability, stakeholder management and BD& funding.
Hinterland's activities comprise amongst others:
- Biomass supply chain assessment & development as fuel supply for enhanced biomass cookstoves in Africa.
- Wood pellet production factory design and planning assignment supporting an existing wood pellet production and cookstove enterprise in Africa on its biomass pellet production expansion plans.
- Origination and assessment of various biomass feedstock (wood & agri residues) and biomass supply chains and projects for cookstove pellet production and sales in Africa.
- Biomass cook stoves Business Development strategy including biomass supply chain development with a global biomass cookstoves manufacturer.
Partnership
Hinterland Management can contribute to partnerships with bespoke Global South cookstove related pellet production expertise as well as Business Development (BD) and fundraising support.
