The Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS) provides education and research on the human health risks of exposure to potentially harmful agents in the environment, at the workplace and through the food chain.

Clean Cooking Activities
IRAS is actively involved in several ongoing exposure assessment and epidemiological studies investigating the relationship between solid fuel use and stove design on household air pollution (HAP) and HAPs biological and disease effects. This is done by large population based exposure surveys, and epidemiological studies
Partnership
IRAS has extensive experience in the fields of exposure and health impact assessment. We seek to expand our areas of stove and fuel research through the making of new partnerships in addition to exploring additional routes of disseminating our findings.
