Clean Cooking Activities
Perene has secured funding for the construction of 6,000 stoves in NE Brazil through two carbon-financed projects. To date, 4,800 efficient cookstoves have been built and construction continues at a rate of 220 stoves/month.
Perene's Project Design Document was validated by Gold Standard in October 2013 and we are in the final stages of Verification for the Monitoring Period I (May 2011 - May2013).
