Mission
With 1.1 degrees Celsius of global temperature rise, IPCC AR6 issued a final warning on the fast-closing window of opportunity to limit global warming to 1.5 Celsius. We at Kosher believe that collective climate action is the way forward and we are striving to scale climate action by developing high-integrity carbon removal/reduction projects to create a world that breathes clean air, communities that are climate resilient, and have access to safe water, and biodiversity that remains rich.

Clean Cooking Activities
We are deeply involved in rural India, providing improved cookstoves for clean cooking to replace traditional fuel wood methods. To date, we have distributed over 100,000 cookstoves in India, all registered under the carbon mechanism (Gold Standard). In addition, we have implemented around 40,000 household biogas plants. Our goal is to join the Clean Cooking Alliance in order to gain insights, expand our efforts, and collaborate to eliminate the use of firewood for cooking, not only in India but globally.

We have successfully implemented projects in India, we would like to bring our expertise and experience to make clean cooking accessible to the world and thereby preserve forests.
