LIFE envisions a Society where young people live healthy and responsible lives free from the ravages of diseases and discrimination with dignity for the human person, social equity for all and young people are engaged as partners in their own development and that of the community in general.

Clean Cooking Activities
LIFE is deeply concerned about the adverse effects the use of dirty fuel has on the health of vulnerable person in the community. As a result of use of dirty fuel community members are at risk of lung cancer, heart disease, child pnuemonia, and low infant birth rate (for pregnant) women. As well as negative impact of dirty fuel on the environment. Due to this concerns there is urgent need to address these problems through positive behaviour change communication campaign, advocacy visits to key influencers and training of beneficaries on proper use of clean cook stoves.
LIFE as part of its mission statement is to empower young people and communites with general health information , already holds workshops, awareness raising sessions with vulnerable community members on negative effects of bad of bad fuel on the health and the environment.
Partnership
LIFE intends to conduct intends to expand its intervention to switch from dirty Cook stoves and fuel to clean cook Stoves and fuel by conducting awareness raising session, distribute educative information materials, use of theater in communities especially rural communities where there is little or no knowledge about the effects of dirty fuel on health and environment.
Also as a means of sustaining the intervention Peer educators and Inter-Personal Communication conductors resident in the communities and rural areas are being trained by LIFE to further sensitize the community on appropriate use of clean stove and fuel.
LIFE intend to conduct series of sustained advocacy visits to community key influencers and opinion changers to engage their support for commuty members to switch to clean Cooking Stove and fuel campaign.
For accessibility of clean cook stoves and fuel we also are seeking for avenues to link buyer of clean cook stoves and fuel to local sellers of cook stoves. And for affordability and availability of product LIFE intends to create a platform for Key community influencers (Key representatives of local government Officials, community leaders, Politicians e.tc) to engage Large Scale dealers of Clean Cook stoves and fuel in dialogue aimed at ensuring the products are readily available and affordable for buyers.
