Clean Cooking Activities
Our research group develops new methods and standards for monitoring and evaluation, including protocol for testing usability of cookstoves and sensors for monitoring fuel use in households. We also explore the drivers and intentions for cookstoves and adoption, pairing engineering design with ethnographic methods. We seek to take a holistic approach to design and policy, applying systems level modeling and attention to social, economic, and environmental factors in addition to the technical aspects of household energy.
Partnership
We partner with funding organizations, NGOs, and projects to conduct relevant and impactful research to help advance the global clean cooking sector.
