PENHA's mission is to reduce poverty among the pastoralists in the Horn of Africa through the empowerment of communities and to foster sustainable and dignified livestock-based and non-livestock-based livelihoods.

We work in the Horn of Africa region and we are keen in developing alternative energy supplied to the pastoral and agro-pastoral communities. Supporting them with alternative can reduce deforestation and carbon emission rates.
Partnership
PENHA is prominent in the Horn of Africa region and has 28 years of experience both working at national and regional levels. Policy engagement and dialogue and also distribution of energy efficient stoves would be our key areas of partnership and provide the partners relevant information on how to work in the countries like Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, and Uganda.
