Our Vision
A just, educated, enlightened, democratic Bundelkhand (India) area®  free from hunger, poverty, environmental®  degradation and all forms of exploitation based on age, sex, religion and ethnicity.
We envisage a society free from all kind of exploitation and injustice and where no one remains hungry, unemployed, illiterate and exploited.

Our Mission
To promote participatory democracy, educate, organize and empower the poor who would in future act as catalyst in promoting gender equality, justice, socio-economic growth and self reliance. PRAGATI PATH works with people whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, disease and other survival challenges. With multifaceted development interventions, we strive to bring about positive change in the quality of life of the under-privileged people of BUNDELKHAND region of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh region of India. We aim to make our programs socially, financially and environmentally sustainable by using new methods and improved technologies. Poverty reduction programs undertaken so far have bypassed many of the poorest. In this context one of our main focuses is the ultra poor. With multifaceted development interventions, PRAGATI PATH strives to bring about changes in the quality of life of these people.

PROPOSED PROJECT:® ORGANISING AWARENESS PROGRAMMES ON ENVIRONMENT IN VILLAGE OF BLOCK BABINA DISTRICT, JHANSI

® This project is aimed at creating environmental awareness amongst school children, women and farmers through various action-oriented interventions. ® 

The goals and objectives of the project are to:


® Supplement the efforts of the Government in creating environmental awareness with people's participation.

Identifying the local environmental issues and evolving a strategy to address the problems.

v®  To organizepadayatras, public rallies involving school children, women, social workers and rural animators.

Educating the rural youth and school children on environmental issues.

Educating the farmers on soil erosion, soil conservation and water shed management.

Educating the women on clean and green

Printing and distribution of educational materials, pamphlets, and posters

Holding painting competition to school children on the theme and evolve a few best paintings for reproducing the same as it is on publicity material.

Involving the educated youth in the campaign and encouraging them to contribute a few catchy slogans on the theme.

Motivating the tribes to abstain from shift cultivation and promote social forestry.

To motivate the public to have rainwater recharge pit / Vermi Compost Unit in their backyard.

To train the village masons in construction of rainwater recharge pits/Vermi Compost Unit.
