SEM Fund has designed an efficient cookstove that is locally-made. This stove is made of sheet metal and incorporate the best design to ensure high thermal and energy efficiency.
SEM Fund is currently registering two CDM projects distributing improved cookstove in urban and rural Senegal.
We are finalizing a business plan to produce and distribute briquettes made from agricultural waste and Typha and invasive aquatic plant. Lastly, SEM Fund is setting up a distribution chain for solar lamps in rural and peri-urban Senegal.
SEM Fund has highly-qualified staff who are knowledgeable in climate adaptation and mitigation as well as training and capacity-building. The organization, has made participatory approach to program design its trademark, which has been recognized by many practitioners.
