Clean Cooking Activities
The firm works on design, production and distribution of standard parts (Modules) for Electric Mitad (special stove used to cook Ethiopian staple 'Injera'). The modules will be distributed to micro-enterprises that are engaged in Production of Electric Mitads. The micro-enterprises, then, build a standard Electric Mitad by doing the required body work and assembling the modules on the top. Use of modularized components based on standard design will help the micro-enterprises to produce high quality, efficient and standardized products that are compatible with each other.
Partnership
As an electrical engineer, the founder would like to contribute by forwarding energy efficient designs and production techniques. Availability of standard stove designs and components would encourage many micro-enterprises to engage in production of Electric Mitads (Injera cooking stoves) thereby increasing adoption rate.
