Mission
The mission of S3IDF is to provide infrastructure and related services to the poor with a view to alleviate poverty by facilitating access to finance business development and technical services to the Rural poor. A large number of government programmes intended to reach the rural poor have not reached the really poor in remote areas. S3IDF attempts to supply this and also to help mobilize funds from government programmes and bank finance, and through innovative institutional engineering from the corporate sector with their CSR activity

Clean Cooking Activities
The major focus of the diverse activities of S3idf is Cook Stove designing with full involvement of the users of the cook stoves especially the women. In each location of a cluster of villages where we ground our projects a Mahila Alliance for Green Energy is formed to serve as the nodal point for these activities and also to function as the supervisory organization for the project activities in this region.
Partnership
We would like to became an active partner of the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and exchange information and experience and technical knowledge with other partners. We would look forward to periodic information supply by the Alliance and seek their guidance in identifying suitable partners in other countries. We have been so far a participant by way of an applicant for the major programmes of funding organized by the Alliance.
