Clean Cooking Activities

Solar CITIES was established in October of 2014. The main beneficiaries of our work are women and children. Home level biogas directly addresses food security by improving soil health, clean water and sanitation, and affordable clean energy. Achieving food security and improved nutrition while promoting sustainable agriculture is possible when the liquid fertilizer from biodigestion is used for soil restoration. Women all over the world are often the keepers of the kitchen and bathrooms. Small scale biogas empowers women and children by freeing their homes of disease causing rotting organic material and providing them with clean burning gas for cooking, heat, and light. We are finalizing our biogas technical skills change curriculum for creating biogas educational hubs world-wide for those in need of food to fuel solutions.

Partnership

We would like to partner with https://www.ppafoundation.org
to create greater stability in Haiti for food to fuel solutions by offering a diversity of clean cooking applications and creating business models to empower women.
