The vision of Som Biogas is to become the market leader in the field of recovery of biodegradable waste
in Somalia and in the region.
The mission of Som Biogas is to apply the existing technology and opportunities in the area of:
i. Production of electricity and natural gas from renewable energy sources.
ii. Processing of biodegradable waste to generate cooking gas,
iii. Material and energy recovery of sludge solid.

Som Biogas core business is Portable Bio-digester and fixed dome bio-digester installations at household and institutional levels. The company is still growing and in the process of diversifying biogas products range including sales of cooking stoves (biomass and biogas), biogas generators and Biogas lamps. The company is also moving towards use of more eco friendly sources of energy such as Briquette.
