Now the project is being implemented by AEPC as NRREP. During ESAP Phase 1 and the bridging phase, the ICS component was one of the most successful in achieving its objective and meeting dissemination targets. It has been focused on improving fuel wood efficiency and addressing gender and health issues through ICS programmes in the mid-hills.
®
ESAP Phase II has provided a comprehensive approach towards overall biomass energy development that supports the achievement of the long-term development objectives of poverty reduction, social justice, and the empowerment of the rural population. In addition to promoting ICS, the BESP component has an objective of working on strengthening biomass energy policy, build institutional capacity and promote decentralization in the rural energy sector. It had included all major biomass energy technologies such as biomass briquettes, bio-fuel and gasifiers including improved cook stoves.®
®
The agreement was made between the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC)/ Energy Sector Assistance Programme (ESAP) and Beautiful Nepal Association (BNA) on January 2006 to work BNA as Service provider of AEPC/ESAP at Mid-west region for the promotion of different renewable energy technologies. Biomass Energy Component of BNA has been working as a part of Regional Renewable Energy Service Centre (RRESC) to promote Biomass Energy Technologies in the four districts of Mid-west namely Surkhet, Dailekh, Jajarkot and Kalikot for the promotion of mud ICS and other working districts for the dissemination of the Metallic ICS.
®
RRESC/BNA has Biomass Energy Engineer as the chief of the component, Field Technical Coordinators in district level under the Regional Coordinator/Team Leader. ® District based NGOs are working for programme as Local Partner Organizations (LPOs) of BNA for the promotion of BEC on respective districts.®

Partnership
We being national NGO in Nepal can implement any project in any part of the country especially in renewable energy sector and Improved Cook Stoves. We can jointly develop projects with international partners and implement with quality services. In our target area we can implement the projects in cost effective way as we are already present in different districts with branch / contact offices.®
We can also support for the projects on carbon financing, climate change and research on biomass energy technology uses and effectiveness. Our chairperson has been doing his PhD especially in the Numerial Modeling of Indoor Air Pollution Distribution regarding the thermal comfort and effectiveness of ventilation in rural areas of Nepal.®
