The prime objective is Promotion of Biomass fuel briquette technology with improved cookstoves. Briquette production technology provide an alternative ® solid biomass fuel to wood and charcoal for domestic use and thus reduce deforestation and increase forest conservation Improved biomass cooks stoves distribution, community adoption and practical utilization reduces environmental pollution and improves thermal energy efficiency. Promoting community selling points for briquettes and improved cook stoves further create income earning opportunity for community households. Overall, the above interventions provide sustainable energy alternative solutions that dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency.
