Clean Cooking Activities

Swijo is currently involved in briquette production from wastes as well as making energy saving cookstoves. The company further engages in marketing of these products among communities including schools, households and other users. It employs youths and women at the plant and in the distribution of it products.
Current production capacity is about 86.7 tonnes per annum of briquettes and about 8,640 cookstoves per year

Swijo development services limited will further utilise the networks of the alliance to improve quality and expand to new markets as a result of this network.
