PISA joins universities,researchers, and civil society organizations in Asia to address emerging critical global issues. The twin issues of climate change mitigation and gender equality led us to issue of promoting clean cookstoves.

Clean Cooking Activities
Pilot program launched in 2010 with Tay Bac University in Vietnam targeting 75 households in Ban Nhop Village, populated by an ethnic minority and adjacent to a forest reserve. household, to supply locally produced cookstoves.

With 25 years of trusted collaborative work with institutions in Asia, PISA is well placed to identify sites for pilot projects, offer training, and develop regional networks in support of clean cookstove initiatives.
