Mission
Paradigm's mission is to identify, fund and develop social venture opportunities that leverage philanthropic and capital market interests in generating sustainable economic, social and environmental value for the poor within developing world communities. We partner with other for-profit and non-profit organizations to provide a complete turnkey solution in distributing fuel efficient stoves, monetizing the resulting carbon assets and returning self-sustaining revenues to poor communities.

Clean Cooking Activities
Our Paradigm Kenya initiative is in full operational mode. We have partnered and assisted with in-country stove manufacturers and are deploying stoves with the assistance of our NGO partners to the most remote regions of the country. Our carbon asset partners have completed the requisite testing and surveys and we are in the final stages of verifying and validating the carbon emissions reductions under the Gold Standard methodology. Revenues for the project will be returning to the initiative in 2011. In Kenya, we are currently distributing about 4,000 clean cookstoves per month mostly in remote rural areas, and will be scaling up to over 10,000 per month by the end of 2011. Our goal is to deploy more than 400,000 clean cookstoves to the rural and peri-urban regions throughout Kenya by 2020, resulting in 10.7 million trees being saved from deforestation and 1.8 million tonnes of CO2e prevented from entering the atmosphere.
We are in the developmental process of implementing similar initiatives in Haiti and Guatemala where the scope is similar to our project in Kenya. We have also made some initial efforts in East African countries and are in contractual talks with our NGOs and other business partners. We anticipate the launch of at least two additional initiatives in 2011. IN yotal, these other initiatives represent the potential deployment of about 4 million additional clean cookstoves by 2020.
Partnership
The Paradigm Project has the proven capabilities to be a large scale stove project implementing partner/facilitator. With our model and experience as a closed-loop, turnkey solution to project implementation, we have proven the efficacy and sustainability of our collaborative process. After an initial seed money investment, our projects generate revenues that both self-fund the projects on an ongoing basis and return funds to investors. We are seeking funding/financing opportunities as well as partners with whom we can collaborate to implement these projects in developing countries globally.
