Toxicologists Without Borders
Mission
The fundamental mission of TWB is to provide pro bono toxicology services to citizens of developing countries. Services include education of healthcare workers and the public and support of research on air pollution-induced diseases.

Toxicologists Without Borders (TWB)was established by human and animal health toxicologists who have expertise in evaluating the health effects of a variety of environmental contaminants as well as knowledge of human health risk assessment methodologies.In addition, TWB members include individuals with a wide variety of professional backgrounds including the medical professions, chemistry, engineering and the social sciences.

TWB is a newly-formed organization and has concentrated on attracting members, identifying specific projects to focus on, and locating funding sources for these projects. Presently, there are no initiatives actively underway.
Partnership
Because of the interdisciplinary nature of TWB, our organization can be a unique resource in reducing barriers to the application of the best toxicological knowledge to public health problems, including air pollution from cookstoves.
