Our organisation promotes tree planting in a forest garden setting with selected farmers. The trees planted are a source of fuel wood to the farmers so that they produce their own fuel wood from their gardens. However, more trees planted are used in a short time because there is no mechanism to save firewood. We believe the idea of introducing energy-efficient systems will help to save fuel wood as a result saving trees/forests.
Partnership
Our organisation will train and give farmers tree seeds to produce fuel wood. Participants in these training will contribute towards acquiring energy- efficient stoves.
