Trees, Water & People's mission is to improve people's lives by helping communities to protect, conserve and manage the natural resources upon which their long-term well-being depends. We have installed 46,000 cookstoves in Central America and Haiti.

Trees, Water & People engages communities to protect and regenerate forest resources in the developing world. Our primary activities have included the establishment of community tree nurseries and dissemination of fuel efficient clean cookstoves.Fuel efficient kilns, institutional cookstoves, cookstove commercialization, local capacity building initiatives, forest replacement associations involving local gov't, local farmers and biomass dependent industries, partnership building.
