Organization
Universidad de la Salle
Mission
Conduct research in engineering designed to measure air pollutants both intra and extra level house, modeling both the origin and dispersal of contaminants engineering and propose measures to enable minimization, reduction or elimination of these pollutants in different environments.
Organizational Expertise
Capacity Building, Climate/Environment, Health, Humanitarian/Emergency Response, Livelihoods, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Standards, Technology and Fuel R&D, Lab or Field Testing
Technologies & Fuels
Biogas, Biomass (Ag. Residue, Processed Biomass, etc.), Charcoal, Coal, Electricity, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Natural Gas / Methane, Solar
Clean Cooking Activities
Our organization aims for the investigation of the most significant in both intra and extra mural polluting environments, seeking to evaluate their impacts through modeling or by developing engineering solutions (improved stoves) to improve the quality of life and in turn the quality air of these environments.
Partnership
Contribute to the development of quality measurements indoor air, participate in the development of measurement protocols, develop and improve models to adjust the reality of indoor household pollution and participate in designing and improving both stoves, and the processes combustion.
