We are working on a project titled EcoFlames, an initiative that offers an eco-friendly solution by transforming coconut waste into charcoal briquettes.
The project's primary goals are to reduce coconut waste, promote clean energy alternatives, and empower young people with green skills and income-generating opportunities.
The initiative includes training young people in briquette production, establishing a functional demonstration unit, and distributing the briquettes to selected communities.
The project also aims to raise awareness about sustainable fuel sources and the circular economy.
Partnership
The World Inspiring Network, through its EcoFlames initiative, seeks to be an active and contributing partner to the Clean Cooking Alliance.
We aim to leverage our unique, youth-driven model for converting coconut waste into clean-burning charcoal briquettes, sharing practical insights on establishing and scaling circular economy solutions that simultaneously address waste management, energy access, and environmental sustainability.
Our contribution will include sharing our expertise in training and empowering unemployed youth in green skills related to briquette production and entrepreneurship, offering a replicable model for fostering local ownership and job creation within the clean cooking sector.
Beyond demonstrating our innovative solution, we will contribute valuable insights into effective community engagement strategies for behavioral change, advocating for the adoption of sustainable cooking fuels.
