Wundacarbon manufactures and establishes sustainable environmental energy and carbon solutions, to socially uplift developing communities whilst protecting the environment. It is accomplished by generating profits from unique processes of carbonizing including briquetting of charcoal and coal dust. It includes thermal efficient stove technology, as well as the generation of electrical energy from the unique carbonising plant. Residual waste and carbon footprint from all processes is minimal.

Clean Cooking Activities

In order to combat air pollution in urban areas where low-grade coal is burnt for cooking and heating purposes, a low smoke fuel programme was initiated in South Africa. Within this context Wundacarbon, after extensive research and development, produced and patented a low smoke fuel briquette. The efficient burning attributes of the briquette is further enhanced by a unique shape, which ensures effective and uniform burning. Official test results are available.
Resulting from this programme a patented stove was developed, extensively tested and proven to maintain an optimum high thermal efficiency over an extended period. Thermal efficiency is demonstrated by effective delivery of the heat energy required the stove delivers the required energy fast and more efficient, when compared with other coal or solid fuel stoves. Due to the burning efficiency poisonous residues such as carbon monoxide gas is sufficiently heated to react and released as carbon dioxide. The stove will assist in reducing possible pollution even better when used with Wundafuel.

Partnership

We wish to involve local rural communities in the supply of raw material and assist in conversion into the final products. These products will then be marketed by and also used/consumed in the communities for further upliftment.
