Junior Communications Officer – Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition
GWNET – Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition is seeking to hire a Junior Communications Officer to assist with its communications activities. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional who wants to gain experience in all aspects of communications and bring in their own ideas, while working in a supportive team and advancing a good cause.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting GWNET’s social media activities
- Preparing newsletters and members digests
- Supporting the maintenance of the website
- Preparing graphics for social media and the website
- Supporting the organisation of virtual and in-person events
- Liaising with partners, including for joint campaigns and advocacy activities
- Supporting media outreach
- Writing blogs and other articles about issues of interest to GWNET
- Supporting monitoring and evaluation of GWNET’s impact
- Coming up with new ideas for impactful communications products and activities.
This is a fully remote position for between 20 and 32 hours/week (to be determined in consultation with the selected candidate). Candidates based in or near the Central European time zone are preferred. The deadline for applications is March 8, 2024.
