Project Manager, African Clean Energy
Job Description
As our Project Manager focused on externally funded projects you will be reporting and coordinating on many ongoing assignments. We are looking for someone who is the ultimate multi-tasker who can handle overseeing projects and structuring time and expectations. This role involves diligent reporting, delegation experience and general tenacity to motivate and keep motivated. Responsibilities
- Creating and delivering detailed data-driven reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating several multicultural teams across our operating regions
- Designing or connecting processes to improve project implementation
- Collaborating with ops and training teams in other markets to ensure timely training is implemented and effective
- Working with the tech team to link processes and training in new tools to the relevant projects
- Coordinating with local project teams to ensure they are on track and reporting is consistent and accurate
- Coordinating with the finance department(s) to ensure compliance of expenses and operations
- Designing studies and pilots together with various departments and partners
- Managing relationships with partner organisations relating to projects and research
- Research grant funding opportunities
Skills & Experience
- Bachelors and/or master’s in international communications, development studies or relevant subject
- 5+ years relevant working experience
- Background in data research and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent digital literacy skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Cross cultural work experience
- Proactive with a strong work ethic and motivation
