Samiksha Nair

Samiksha Nair is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). Samiksha has over a decade of experience identifying and scaling private sector solutions to sustainable development, focusing on climate change and clean energy access. Prior to joining CCA, Samiksha worked for a private, Swiss investment advisory firm specializing in innovative financial instruments for climate-related investments in emerging markets. Samiksha has also led the development of new support models and financing mechanisms for small and growing businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa at the World Bank and advised governments on public-private partnerships to finance green infrastructure at the World Economic Forum. Additional prior experience includes work with corporates on sustainable supply chain projects, mobilizing private investment for green growth through blended finance models, and project development in the energy sector in India, Southeast Asia, the U.S., and Europe. Samiksha holds an MBA from the University of Geneva and an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
