CCA defines ‘Improved biomass cookstove companies’ as those making or selling pellets, char-briquettes, or briquette fuels, or those making or selling improved biomass cookstoves that can achieve a minimum Tier 3 ISO rating for thermal efficiency. These improved biomass cookstoves may also use wood or charcoal as fuel.
