Since its launch in 2010, the Clean Cooking Alliance has made significant progress in its market-enabling activities, including research on the impacts of clean cookstoves and fuels on health, the environment, women’s empowerment, and livelihoods; the establishment of global standards for the sector; support for the enhancement of testing centers around the world; release of fund to support enterprise capacity building; the growth of partnerships globally; public outreach and advocacy to raise awareness of this silent killer; and more.
