CCA Partners with AlliedOffsets to Expand Carbon Market Resources
WASHINGTON, D.C., April 1, 2025 — The Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) has expanded its data offerings on cookstove carbon markets through a new partnership with Allied Offsets, advancing the sector’s transparency. CCA’s updated Carbon Market Dashboard now features detailed insights into demand and pricing trends for cookstove credits across voluntary and compliance markets. Updated every three days, the free, interactive dashboard provides three new categories of information:
- Buyer insights: Identify leading buyers of cookstove credits over the past 12 months, segmented by industry.
- Cookstove credit prices: Analyze price trends over time, with data sorted by geographic location and fuel type.
- Compliance market data: Explore which countries have the largest share of cookstove credits under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and the percentage of credits aligning with Article 6 and CORSIA.
These enhancements complement the dashboard’s existing dataset from MSCI Carbon Markets, which tracks cumulative issuances and retirements, as well as cookstove credit availability by region and registry.
“Carbon finance remains a key driver of investment into the clean cooking sector, while also unlocking more conventional forms of capital,” said Feisal Hussain, Director of Innovative Finance at CCA. “With the expansion of the Dashboard, we’re advancing transparency in carbon markets and aiming to equip investors and financiers with the insights they need to make more informed decisions.”
“Cookstove carbon credits have long been vital to the carbon market, as they provide immediate and quantifiable environmental benefits while significantly improving livelihoods in communities worldwide,” said Maria Orsola Benzoni, Data Lead at AlliedOffsets. “We are thrilled to collaborate with CCA to enhance market transparency and access to data.”
