Cross-sectoral Collaboration for Clean Cooking: Overview and Recommendations
Clean cooking programs are cross-cutting in nature, providing co-benefits to health, the climate, the environment, gender equality, and livelihoods. Thus, cross-sectoral collaboration serves to strengthen programs. Toward that goal, the Clean Cooking Alliance, PATH, and partners created the “Cross-sectoral Collaboration for Clean Cooking” package, which is divided into several components: (i) this overview report that summarizes two case studies, presents a visual representation of the multiple effects of clean cooking, and provides recommendations for future efforts; (i) a case study of national clean cooking interventions in Nepal; and (iii) a case study of national clean cooking interventions in Kenya.
