Babington Technology
Mission
Babington Technology's mission is to leverage its core burner technology that is capable of burning virtually any liquid fuel efficiently and cleanly (no carbon monoxide, no soot or black carbon, no smoke) to provide cooking and space heating solutions to address dirty and inefficient cooking appliances in the developing world.
Furthermore, the company seeks to apply its expertise and experience providing mass® field feeding equipment to the U.S. Military to the problem of providing group feeding related to humanitarian and disaster relief.
By applying its expertise and technology, Babington Technology can help reduce® indoor air pollution that is killing over over a million women and children a year. It can also help reduce black carbon and deforestation because the technology burns modern liquid fuels cleanly and efficiently.

Other Organizational Expertise
Since 1996, Babington Technology has been providing mass group feeding equipment based on a burner technology that serves as the backbone of the U.S. Military's field feeding programs.® The Babington Airtronic Burner was chosen as the US Military's burner because of its highly innovative and unique design that makes it capable of burning any liquid fuel, i.e., petroleum liquid fuels like diesel and kerosene, biofuels like ethanol and biodiesels, cleanly (no carbon ® monoxide, no soot or black carbon, no smoke) and efficiently. ®
Technologies & Fuels
Ethanol / Alcohol, Kerosene
Other Technologies Fuels
The Babington Airtronic Burner is a dramatic leap forward in distillate liquid fuel burners.® By using the Babington Atomizing Principle, the Babington (Airtronic) burner is capable of operating at low capacity (deal for cooking and space heating) at high efficiency with dramatically reduced emissions (zero smoke, zero soot and zero odor).® The Babington burner also attained milestone achievements in reliability and combustion efficiency due to its clean-burning nozzle-less design. ® The burner is capable of burning any liquid fuel, i.e., petroleum liquid fuels like diesel and kerosene, biofuels like ethanol and biodiesels, cleanly (no carbon ® monoxide, no soot or black carbon, no smoke) and efficiently. Because of its unique atomization technology, it can also burn fuel blends and is impervious to contaminants, which means it can burn liquid fuels that are adulterated with water or other contaminants.
Clean Cooking Activities
In the late 2000s, the company introduced the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (https://www.babingtontechnology.com/products/mobile-kitchen-drmkt.html#.Ud2v8z6gm6g),® which has been identified as a "critical component" of U.S. FEMA's domestic response framework for disaster and humanitarian relief
Babington Technology is working with the UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency), the US Air National Guard, the US State Department to make the Mobile Kitchen Trailer available for use in refugee camps in Sub Saharan Africa that operate in fragile environments that have been subjected to deforestation.
