Clean Cooking Activities
Time has come to pose the question who is doing what for the environment in Nigeria? Are Nigerian companies doing enough for the environment? Are their CSR especially effort to help the poor check the environmental degradation through emission from cookstoves. As we continue to focus on the environmental report cards of the big oil and gas, cement and other corporate giants, we must begin to feel the pulse of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in ethical behavior and in the practice of CSR. This is because at the national scale, the aggregate impact of small firms on the environment is huge.
