Clean Cooking Activities
The new partnership will provide grant resources and technical assistance for:
Country-level activities focused on enabling environment, supply chain strengthening and enhancing demand in at least 12 countries, including the eight Alliance focus countries;
Remote monitoring with ICT targeting stove use, black carbon emissions, and exposure to household air pollution;
Designing and catalyzing financing mechanisms for households and enterprises, including results-based approaches.
Partnership
The World Bank Group commits to mobilizing resources through its Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) for an Efficient Clean Cooking and Heating Partnership with the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves.
