H.E. Ingrid Mollestad
Ambassador to Ghana, Government of Norway
A career diplomat since 1995, with a master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Geneva, Ambassador Mollestad has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway in various capacities, posted both abroad and at home, including as Director in the Department of UN and multilateral affairs of the Ministry until 2016. She is Norway’s Ambassador to Ghana since September 2021, also covering several other countries in the region from Accra. Previously she was Norway’s ambassador to Cuba and the Caribbean region posted in Havana from 2016 -2020. She holds the title of Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit.
