Katja Lasseur
Deputy Ambassador, Government of Netherlands
Ms. Katja Lasseur was appointed Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Cooperation at the Embassy of the kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana in July, 2018.
She started her career at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001. After several years as a Policy Officer at the Africa Department, she was seconded to the EU in Brussels and then worked as the spokesperson for the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Paris.
Upon her return to The Hague, she worked on EU External Affairs and sanctions policy at the EU directorate of the Foreign Ministry. Thereafter she returned to the Africa Department where she was appointed Netherlands Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region.
